A few helpful answers
Where are my memories stored?
On your device, in Memento’s local app storage. Optional backups go to a local file, your iCloud on iOS or the WebDAV server you choose. Memento does not host your memory library.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases on the Memento Pro screen while signed in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase. An internet connection is required. If it still does not appear, contact us with the product name and app version.
What happens when Pro expires?
Your existing memories remain available to read, edit, delete and back up. The free plan allows up to 10 personal moments; adding beyond that limit requires Pro. Example memories do not count.
How do I cancel a subscription?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and select Memento. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual moments in the app, or remove the app and its local data. Separately delete exported and cloud backup copies, including any device backups you no longer need. There is no Memento account to close. Email us for requests about support messages or identifiable purchase-related records.
Is backup the same as sync?
No. A backup is a copy you create and later restore. Restoring replaces the current library; save a fresh backup first if you want to keep it. Keep backup files private because they have no additional password protection.
